Fantastic experience for the 2nd time painting the exterior of our house. The team was very conscientious about the work they were doing. I found them pickier about getting it right than I was, and they were certain not to just rush the job but get it right even if it meant delaying the finish.
Not only were we happy the first time but the quote was very competitive rather than just assuming we would return.

Josh and his crew were amazing! They’re thorough, honest, and a pleasure to work with. From first contact to full house power washing, prep, and painting was less than two weeks, and the results were excellent. Highly recommend!

Prep-rite stained our fence in 2021 and recently did some drywall repair, interior and exterior painting for us. They were quick to come out and give us an estimate and also got us in the schedule quickly. Work was well done and the painters left our house very clean. He also had great ideas on what could be done to make the house look even better. The price was good and the time frame to complete the project was very good. We have had many painters over years in the several places that we have lived but Prep-Rite far surpassed all of them in the quality of their work, their professionalism, and their attention to detail. We are THRILLED with our experience with Prep Rite for a deck stain job. We first tried to get quotes from some other smaller companies that specialized in only deck staining, and they were all booked months in advance. We were a bit scared to hire a general painting company to do the deck specifically, but we are really glad we did!

We worked with Joshua Landau to get a quote and estimate and he was awesome. He explained to us how a natural stain that leaves some of the texture of the wood showing could be a better option than a more opaque or paint-looking stain. You can see in the pictures that we chose natural cedar stain color, which darkened the wood significantly and left a lot of interesting texture. The variation in color actually works great with incorporating darker wood colors in our furniture as shown! Ive included the only picture I could find of what my deck looked like before as well for reference (it wasn't worth taking pictures of before!)

Luis and the painting team were great. They were very friendly and considerate and cleaned up everything after the job super well. And they did a really good job, from what I could tell there were no defects or issues at all.

Timing was also unbelievably fast! While other deck companies were booked for months in advance, prep-rite completed this job within 8 days of my call. I called on a thursday/friday, Josh visited on a Tuesday, pressure washer came on Wed., and the job was done on thursday/friday!! I think we got a little lucky with the weather and timing but it was great!

Price was reasonable and very fair for how great of a job they did! Overall awesome experience and wanted to share. Our outdoor covered deck is our new favorite room!

Preprite was one of the best experiences we had durning our home renovation. They were professional and always on time. They were easy to work with and very nice people. We love the work they did!! Highly recommend!

We used Preprite in December 2020 to paint the exterior of our home. We worked with Josh Landau to estimate and sell the job. Josh is awesome. He's straightforward about what they can and can not do, straightforward on price, and very flexible as I had a handful of "demands" I needed to be taken into account with the job. We had David as the main crew manager. He was awesome, Very detail oriented and accommodating to my slightly OCD self. And, he works very hard. The exterior turned out so well, we hired them to come back in January to do our kitchen cabinets. The process they use is unbelievably detail oriented and leaves as close as a factory finish on the cabinets and cabinet doors as you can possibly get on 10-year old Hickory cabinets. Where Preprite isnt the cheapest painting option out there, you definitely get what you pay for with them. These guys are the real deal - transparent, honest, fair priced, and they produce an excellent result.

We used Prep-Rite to pressure wash our house, as well as paint our porch/rails and repaint some areas of the house that had had the paint eroded from water. Joshua Landau, the Regional Manager was fantastic, very professional responsive and the work crew did a fantastic job. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and would certainly use them again. While not finished with our house yet I couldn’t wait till they were done to write this. Harry and his crew have been outstanding to work with. Harry came out to give us the initial quote, again to review everything on the first day of the job and again today to make sure everything was going as planned and on time. His crew has been great, prepping each room fixing any nail pops or cracks before painting and have been very accommodating as my wife and I work from home. As we just moved in 2 weeks ago his crew changed their schedule the 3rd day just so the carpet people could do there job and get the new carpet installed. There workmanship is a First Class and the crew boss has help my wife when she was unsure of what color she should do. Finally and without us even saying a word, his crew stayed late last night to finish the 2nd coat in the master just so me and my wife had a bed to sleep in last night. In my 40 years of owning different houses and having various painters come in, I have NEVER had such a pleasant experience as this one. If your ever looking for someone for a painting job, I would recommend Prep-Rite be on the top of your list.

Prep-Rite has been around for a very long time, and we were very delighted to have them return. Joshua Landau, the Regional Manager, is incredibly professional, timely, extremely responsive, and their work crew is as well. Everyone is on time and the job done with wonderful detail. We are thrilled with our exterior carpentry repairs and painting. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

-painted walls, trim, house door, and window frames and floor of screened in porch
-painted inside hallway
I am very pleased with the outcome. Harry was very professional and communicative. His team (lead by Hernan) was friendly and non-intrusive, and sought me out with questions (which i appreciated). I am also impressed by the quality of their work, it all looks great. I will be going straight back to Prep-Rite for future work.
Side note, my neighbor had some inside painting performed (much of their first floor), and they were also very pleased with the work. I initially got a quote from a different (also excellent) company, but checked out Prep-Rite because of my neighbor's recommendation. Prep-Rite was cheaper and like i said, I'm very satisfied.

Outstanding service, beginning to end. Not the cheapest quote we received, but i could tell Harry genuinely cared about the quality of his team's work when he came to give us a quote, so we went with him. Had a large crew come and finished the job in one day... had 2 minor touch ups needed, he had someone here at 9am the following morning to fix it. I would highly recommend Harry and his company. Great work!

He shifted schedules/projects to fit us in and even when I messed up financial stuff on my end, he was very patient and ridiculously accommodating. He even drove to my work to pickup a check I owed him. The people in the office are super nice too. I'm 99% sure that they apologized to me when I had to give them two forms of payment for the job. Come on...where are the 6 stars? I'm telling my family about these guys when they move down. If you're on the fence...go with them. And no, I do not know them personally but they made a huge impression.

Very happy with the exterior paint job done by Prep-Rite. We needed only the siding painted, not trim since it is vinyl or composite. A team of four showed up at 1:00 and did the job with brushes in a little over six hours. Very meticulous and we would call them again! Thanks to Joshua for the very fair price and Dave for coordinating the team.
