We cannot express enough how happy we were with Prep-Rite. Josh came to give us a quote, then he brought his team over to go over what needed to be done. His crew then did all the work. Josh cam back and went over the work with the team lead. After finishing the job, the team lead went over everything twice to make sure it was all done. A great company to work with.

We have had many painters over years in the several places that we have lived but Prep-Rite far surpassed all of them in the quality of their work, their professionalism, and their attention to detail. We hired them to do exterior and interior painting on our older home. There was much prep work on the inside that needed to be done before they even started painting (fixing cracks, holes, etc.). We couldn't believe how much time and effort they put into the job. Our walls look amazing now. Highly, highly recommend this company. You will not be disappointed!

We recently moved into a new construction home and are also first-time homeowners, so we were in need of some guidance on how to maintain our new screened porch. We are THRILLED with our experience with Prep Rite for a deck stain job. We first tried to get quotes from some other smaller companies that specialized in only deck staining, and they were all booked months in advance. We were a bit scared to hire a general painting company to do the deck specifically, but we are really glad we did!We worked with Joshua Landau to get a quote and estimate and he was awesome. He explained to us how a natural stain that leaves some of the texture of the wood showing could be a better option than a more opaque or paint-looking stain. You can see in the pictures that we chose natural cedar stain color, which darkened the wood significantly and left a lot of interesting texture. The variation in color actually works great with incorporating darker wood colors in our furniture as shown! Ive included the only picture I could find of what my deck looked like before as well for reference (it wasn't worth taking pictures of before!)Luis and the painting team were great. They were very friendly and considerate and cleaned up everything after the job super well. And they did a really good job, from what I could tell there were no defects or issues at all.Timing was also unbelievably fast! While other deck companies were booked for months in advance, prep-rite completed this job within 8 days of my call. I called on a thursday/friday, Josh visited on a Tuesday, pressure washer came on Wed., and the job was done on thursday/friday!! I think we got a little lucky with the weather and timing but it was great!Price was reasonable and very fair for how great of a job they did! Overall awesome experience and wanted to share. Our outdoor covered deck is our new favorite room!

We used Preprite in December 2020 to paint the exterior of our home. We worked with Josh Landau to estimate and sell the job. Josh is awesome. He's straightforward about what they can and can not do, straightforward on price, and very flexible as I had a handful of "demands" I needed to be taken into account with the job. We had David as the main crew manager. He was awesome, Very detail oriented and accommodating to my slightly OCD self. And, he works very hard. The exterior turned out so well, we hired them to come back in January to do our kitchen cabinets. The process they use is unbelievably detail oriented and leaves as close as a factory finish on the cabinets and cabinet doors as you can possibly get on 10-year old Hickory cabinets. Where Preprite isnt the cheapest painting option out there, you definitely get what you pay for with them. These guys are the real deal - transparent, honest, fair priced, and they produce an excellent result.

While not finished with our house yet I couldn’t wait till they were done to write this. Harry and his crew have been outstanding to work with. Harry came out to give us the initial quote, again to review everything on the first day of the job and again today to make sure everything was going as planned and on time. His crew has been great, prepping each room fixing any nail pops or cracks before painting and have been very accommodating as my wife and I work from home. As we just moved in 2 weeks ago his crew changed their schedule the 3rd day just so the carpet people could do there job and get the new carpet installed. There workmanship is a First Class and the crew boss has help my wife when she was unsure of what color she should do. Finally and without us even saying a word, his crew stayed late last night to finish the 2nd coat in the master just so me and my wife had a bed to sleep in last night. In my 40 years of owning different houses and having various painters come in, I have NEVER had such a pleasant experience as this one. If your ever looking for someone for a painting job, I would recommend Prep-Rite be on the top of your list.

Harry and company performed the following:-re-stained older portions of deck-1st time stained new portions of deck and trash can enclosure.-painted walls, trim, house door, and window frames and floor of screened in porch-painted inside hallwayI am very pleased with the outcome. Harry was very professional and communicative. His team (lead by Hernan) was friendly and non-intrusive, and sought me out with questions (which i appreciated). I am also impressed by the quality of their work, it all looks great. Not the cheapest quote we received, but i could tell Harry genuinely cared about the quality of his team's work when he came to give us a quote, so we went with him. Had a large crew come and finished the job in one day... had 2 minor touch ups needed, he had someone here at 9am the following morning to fix it. I would highly recommend Harry and his company. Great work!

After I realized I couldn't paint an entire house in 1.5 weeks and after getting various other estimates, we went with Prep-Rite and holy wow...am I glad I went with them. I gave them the smallest timeframe to work within. They delivered. They finished early even. They turned my 70s looking weird ranch into a beautiful country inspired place to call home. Everything ran through Josh and he was outstanding. Probably the best experience I've had with a business ever. He shifted schedules/projects to fit us in and even when I messed up financial stuff on my end, he was very patient and ridiculously accommodating. He even drove to my work to pickup a check I owed him. The people in the office are super nice too. I'm 99% sure that they apologized to me when I had to give them two forms of payment for the job. Come on...where are the 6 stars? I'm telling my family about these guys when they move down. If you're on the fence...go with them. And no, I do not know them personally but they made a huge impression.

Very happy with the exterior paint job done by Prep-Rite. We needed only the siding painted, not trim since it is vinyl or composite. A team of four showed up at 1:00 and did the job with brushes in a little over six hours. Very meticulous and we would call them again! We used Prep-Rite to paint the inside of our former house. When my brother decided to relocate, we called them to paint his interior as well as all wood and foundation pieces on the outside. Josh and the crew did an outstanding job both inside and outside. The exterior was a challenge because it rained nearly the whole week that they were painting. We visited them once to check on progress and they were busy protecting the new floors and staging furniture left in the house. They painted all of the ceilings, closets, walls, doors, and the floor and door/window trim. It looked better than a "new" house when they were finished.

Prep-Rite painted the interior of my home last spring. We obtained several quotes. Prep-Rite's quote was substantially lower than most that we obtained. To our delight, lower price DID NOT mean lower quality. The company demonstrated excellence in every aspect of the project. The office staff was attentive to our individual concerns and needs. The project manager was on site at the start of work and came to the job site twice to check on the painting crew's progress. The crew was polite and unobtrusive; they kept the work area clean. They were skilled painters, who took time to thoroughly protect our furnishings and to carefully prepare the surfaces to take the paint. Prep-Rite did an exemplary job; I would use them again. The only downside was that we do not speak Spanish, and the painting crew did not speak English. The crew leader understood English but could speak it only well enough to communicate very basic ideas. Fortunately, the project manager was on hand to interpret the one time that the language barrier became a problem.

The crew leader David made sure that everything was done just how we wanted and even when I suggested a short cut, he talked me out of it as he didn't think we would be pleased in the end with the short cut and he was so right. Due to the rain changing the schedule a little, I was already committed to be out of town and was not comfortable with the windows being opened while I was gone so they changed their painting schedule to accommodate us. We can not say enough about how pleased we are with their work! Excellent job!
